Rain In Lascaux

Rain In Lascaux

from 60.00

Inspired by ancient cave paintings in Lascaux, France, a herd of horses run and are ridden across an open expanse in the rain. The cave was a place of sacred practice where ancient humans confronted darkness and mystery. Petroglyphs and pictographs reveal symbolic ways of seeing and the expressive desire to interact with the world and shape outcomes for sustenance and furtherance of life. Hurrying for the protection of the cave, these creatures hope to live on as more than daubs of paint and puddles of ink.
